Privacy Policy
What we collect when you shop with us, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. Written plainly, because you should be able to read it.

Who we are and what this covers
This policy explains how Minderse Ltd (UAB “Minderse”, company code 306238029, VAT code LT100015812514; “Sorrel Naturals”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit sorrelnaturals.com, buy from us, start a Subscribe & Save plan, sign up for our emails or get in touch. We are responsible for that information, and you can reach us at [email protected] or Laisvės al. 110, LT-44253 Kaunas, Lithuania.
Personal information means anything that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. It doesn’t include information that has been made anonymous.
What we collect
We collect what we need to fill your orders, deliver them and run the shop, and no more.
| Type | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Contact details | Your name and email address. |
| Shipping | Your delivery address. If you send an order to someone else, their name and address. |
| Orders | What you bought, prices paid, order numbers, delivery status, refunds, your Subscribe & Save plans and, if you choose to give one, your reason for cancelling a plan. We also keep a record that you agreed to our terms at checkout, with the time, IP address and browser. |
| Payment | Handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the card type and last four digits, never the full card number. |
| Messages and reviews | What you write to us, and any review you submit, with your name, email and, if you add it, your order number. |
| Email sign-ups | Your email address when you join our emails, in the welcome popup or with the box at checkout, and whether you have unsubscribed. |
| Device and usage | IP address, browser and device type, pages and products viewed, items added to your cart, and how you arrived at the site. |
| Cookie identifiers | Identifiers stored in your browser by us and our partners, described under Cookies and your consent. |
Most of this comes from you, when you order, sign up or write to us. Device and usage data is collected automatically as you browse. Our payment, email and advertising partners also tell us things like whether a payment went through, whether an email was opened, and how our ads performed.
We don’t ask for sensitive information such as government ID numbers or your precise location, and we ask that you don’t send it. Health information has its own section, just below.
Health information
We don’t ask for health information, and you never need to tell us anything about your health to shop with us.
If you choose to share some, for example in a message, in a review or as your reason for cancelling a plan, we use it only to answer you, to publish the review you submitted, or to understand why plans end. We never sell it or use it for advertising.
Published reviews are public, so please share only what you are happy for anyone to read.
How we use it
- To fill and deliver your order: pack and ship it, send order and tracking emails, and handle refunds and replacements.
- To run your Subscribe & Save plan: charge the renewals you agreed to and let you skip, pause or cancel.
- To help you: answer questions and put problems right.
- To publish your review: on our site, with your first name and the first letter of your last name. We never show your email address.
- To send marketing you signed up for: emails about routines, new products and offers, never after you unsubscribe.
- To measure our advertising: see which ads lead to visits and orders, and show our ads to people likely to be interested, unless you opt out.
- To keep the shop safe and lawful: stop fraud, secure the site, and meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations.
We don’t use your information to make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Payments
Card and wallet payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. If you start a Subscribe & Save plan, Stripe securely stores your payment method so renewals can be charged. Stripe also uses payment data to fight fraud, as described in Stripe’s privacy policy.
Emails from us
We send order confirmations and shipping updates by email. They are part of your order, so they continue even if you unsubscribe from marketing.
We send marketing emails only to people who sign up: in our welcome popup, or with the “Email me with news and offers” box at checkout. That box is already ticked, so untick it if you would rather not hear from us. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Our emails are sent through our email provider, Klaviyo. Klaviyo’s script on our site can recognize you if you have signed up or clicked one of our emails, so we can send relevant follow-ups, such as a reminder about a checkout you started.
Advertising and measurement
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are run by Meta. To see which ads work, we use the Meta Pixel in your browser and Meta’s Conversions API from our server. Together they tell Meta when someone views a page or product, adds to cart, goes through checkout, signs up for emails or places an order, along with which products were involved and the order value.
With those events, Meta receives your IP address, browser details, Meta’s own cookie identifiers and our random visitor ID. For orders and email sign-ups, it also receives your email address in scrambled (hashed) form, and for orders, your name, city, state, ZIP code and country, scrambled the same way. That lets Meta match an event to an account without us sending those details in readable form. We never send Meta your street address, your messages or reviews, or your payment details.
Meta uses this to measure our ads and help show them to people likely to be interested, under Meta’s privacy policy. Under some US state laws this counts as “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising, or as a “sale”, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out at any time on our Your privacy choices page, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. Once you opt out, we stop sending your activity on this site to Meta from that browser.
Cookies and your consent
Cookies and similar browser storage let the site remember things. We use four kinds.
| Kind and what it does | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|
| Essential. Keeps your cart, remembers your privacy choice, keeps you signed in if you use your account, and lets Stripe spot fraud at checkout. | No. The shop can’t work without them. |
| Preferences. Remembers that you closed our welcome popup or signed up in it, so it doesn’t keep appearing. | Yes: clear your browser’s data for our site. |
| Email. Klaviyo’s cookie recognizes you if you have signed up for or clicked our emails. | Yes: clear your cookies, or unsubscribe to stop the emails. |
| Advertising. Our random visitor ID and Meta’s cookies link your visits to our ads. | Yes, in one click. See below. |
Advertising cookies are on unless you opt out on the Your privacy choices page (linked at the bottom of every page) or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. You can change your mind on that page at any time. Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies, though the cart won’t work without the essential ones.
These are the names you may see in your browser’s settings:
- sorrel-cart: your cart.
- sn-consent: your ad tracking choice.
- sn-welcome: that you closed the welcome popup or signed up in it.
- sn_customer: your sign-in, if you use your account.
- sn_vid: our random visitor ID, for measuring our ads.
- _fbp and _fbc: Meta’s advertising cookies.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or an extension sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we take it as a request to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising for that browser. Ad tracking simply stays off, with nothing for you to click. We don’t respond to the older “Do Not Track” setting, which never became an agreed standard; Global Privacy Control replaces it. You can learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with companies that help us run the shop, and only what each needs.
- Stripe processes payments and helps fight fraud.
- Klaviyo sends our emails.
- Meta measures our advertising, as described above, unless you opt out.
- USPS, and anyone who packs orders for us, receive the name and address needed to deliver your order.
- Our hosting and database providers store the site and our order records.
- Professional advisers and authorities, such as our accountants and lawyers, or a court or regulator when the law requires it.
If Sorrel Naturals is ever sold or merged, customer information may pass to the new owner, who must honor this policy. We don’t sell personal information for money, and apart from Meta’s advertising use described above, our providers may use it only to provide their services to us.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the state you live in, US privacy laws give you the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy in a portable format.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Delete information we hold about you, apart from records we must keep by law, such as tax records for orders.
- Opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising, using our Your privacy choices page or Global Privacy Control.
- Appeal if we turn down your request.
We honor these requests from every customer, wherever you live in the US. To make one, email [email protected] from the address you ordered with, and include your order number if you have one. We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and take no more than another 45 days. We verify requests by matching the details you send to our records. You may use an authorized agent, and we will ask for proof that they can act for you.
If we deny your request, reply to our answer and ask us to reconsider. We will respond to your appeal within 60 days. If you are still unhappy, you can contact your state attorney general.
We will never charge you more, give you a worse service or hold it against you in any way for using these rights.
How long we keep it
- Orders and payment records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require, typically up to seven years.
- Subscribe & Save plans: while your plan is active, then as part of your order records.
- Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you. After you unsubscribe, we keep your email on a do-not-send list so you aren’t emailed again.
- Messages to us: for as long as we need them to help you and keep a record of what we agreed.
- Cookies and browser storage: for the lifetime set by each cookie, or until you clear them. Your privacy choice stays in your browser until you clear its site data.
Keeping it safe
The site runs over encrypted HTTPS, access to customer records is limited to the people who need it, and card payments are handled by Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the payment industry’s highest security standard. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise that information will never be exposed. If a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
Our shop is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we don’t sell or share it. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Where your information is handled
Sorrel Naturals sells to US addresses only. We are based in Lithuania, and we and the companies that help us may store and handle your information in the United States, the European Union and other countries where they operate. Wherever it is handled, we protect it as this policy describes.
Changes to this policy
When our practices change, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site before it applies.
